Compacfoam is a strong, lightweight rigid thermoplastic insulation designed for applications where you need both thermal performance and reliable structural support. It is particularly suited to window and door thresholds, helping to minimise thermal bridging while providing a secure fixing point.
With high compressive strength and good screw pull-out resistance, Compacfoam can be drilled, sawn and fixed like timber, making it a practical alternative to timber battens where reducing thermal bridging is important.
