inc. VATPro Clima TESCON No.1 is a highly elastic airtightness tape designed for sealing awkward joints, uneven surfaces and challenging junctions. As the stretchy alternative to TESCON VANA and TESCON PROFIL, it can conform to irregular surfaces while maintaining a secure, permanent and airtight bond.
It is suitable for sealing overlaps between intelligent vapour control layers, airtightness membranes, roof underlays and wall membranes, as well as joints between membranes and smooth, non-mineral surfaces. TESCON No.1 can also be used to seal butt joints between wood-based panels such as OSB and MDF, and wood fibre softboards such as GUTEX when used with TESCON PRIMER RP.
Its high elasticity provides excellent protection against piercing, particularly when sealing around corners and other demanding areas. The tape is supplied with release paper and can be easily torn by hand for quick and straightforward installation.
